It is hard to believe that just seven years ago, the vision of a center to provide patients with the absolute best supportive care throughout their breast cancer journey became a reality. While breast cancer support services have been the main focus of the Joan Katz Breast Center at Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center - Fort Worth, it has quickly become clear that these resources would be invaluable for ALL cancer patients.

In order to welcome all patients to the center, and truly reflect what is being offered, the name of the center will change. The new name of the center will be the Joan Katz Cancer Resource Center. The funds generously donated to finish out the space and permanently endow the program will continue to be earmarked in the exact manner that were given. Patients will continue to be the focus of the Joan Katz Cancer Resource Center whether they are newly diagnosed, in the midst of treatments or require post-treatment support.

Your support has made this vision a reality. *

Soliant Health, a leading specialty healthcare staffing provider and part of Adecco Group, has named Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center's Andrews Women's Hospital as one of the Top 20 Most Beautiful Hospitals in the U.S. for 2017.

For the ninth year in a row, Soliant Health turned to hospital staff, patients, and community supporters to determine the Top 20 hospitals worthy of “Most Beautiful Hospital in the U.S.” distinction. More than 50 nominations later, Soliant opened up the contest to a month-long voting period to determine its winners.

This year, Soliant received more than 100,000 votes in the contest. Baylor Scott & White – Fort Worth’s Andrews Women’s Hospital received 6,205 votes placing the hospital at seventh place overall.

“We are truly honored to be named one of America’s Most Beautiful Hospitals,” said Michael Sanborn, President of Baylor Scott & White All Saints Medical Center – Fort Worth. “When Andrews Women’s Hospital opened in 2008, a great deal of thought was put into the design and aesthetics to promote a healing environment for our patients. This award validates the hard work and thought that went in to the creation of the facility.”
